Description

  • Serve as a platform and solutions expert supporting the sales team throughout the pre-sales cycle.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations, presentations, and technical materials for prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Partner with Account Executives on account strategy, discovery, demos, RFPs, and proofs of concept.
  • Qualify, design, and demonstrate ecommerce search, category merchandising, product recommendation, and integrated platform solutions.
  • Own proofs of concept and site assessments, including success criteria, product-feed validation, demo-environment builds, and results readouts.
  • Conduct scoping sessions and create technical implementation plans that map catalog, data, and use-case requirements to platform capabilities.
  • Identify client priorities, business challenges, and objectives through discovery.
  • Educate clients and partners on Loomi AI and its search and merchandising capabilities.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant pre-sales experience, preferably in SaaS or ecommerce.
  • Experience leading complex technical sales processes involving SaaS, ecommerce search, merchandising, or ecommerce platforms.
  • Understanding of machine learning, AI, search relevance, merchandising, recommendations, and analytics.
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce, marketplace, or D2C industries.
  • Development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
  • Proficiency with APIs and integrations and ability to work with client IT teams.
  • Ability to present technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, and continuous-learning skills.
  • Expertise in frontend programming and product catalog/feed formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV (preferred).
  • Experience with search relevance tuning, category ranking, A/B testing, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, or headless commerce architectures (preferred).
