Description

  • Develop and implement an organic social media strategy aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Lead creation and curation of social content across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
  • Own the strategy and execution support for short-form video content, including ideation, filming, minor editing, and publishing.
  • Partner with the Brand Communications Marketing Manager to build executive LinkedIn thought leadership content.
  • Monitor social channels and engage with industry professionals, customers, prospects, and the broader nonprofit community.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics and use insights to optimize campaigns.
  • Oversee cross-functional execution of social media initiatives and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Serve as the brand’s social media ambassador and ensure communications reflect company values, culture, and voice.
  • Participate in the Crisis Communications Team and help monitor and mitigate social media risks during sensitive situations.
  • Stay current on social media trends, emerging platforms, and new content formats, especially short-form video.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management.
  • At least 2 years developing executive thought leadership content for social, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout Social or Buffer.
  • Experience with paid social advertising is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with video editing software such as OpusClip or After Effects.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude for social content creation and optimization.
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or LinkedIn Insights.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, and advanced degrees or digital marketing certifications are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the nonprofit space, including industry trends, buyer personas, and content marketing strategies, is preferred.
