Description

  • Produce short- and long-form video content for social, website, presentations, and campaigns.
  • Edit footage from live or virtual events, interviews, and partner sessions.
  • Create animated explainer videos, infographics, and motion graphics from scripts and strategic goals.
  • Develop short-form videos tailored for platforms such as Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Translate internal content briefs into storyboards or visual sequences.
  • Source background music, captions, and voiceover elements as needed.
  • Maintain visual consistency with BCI’s brand identity and video standards.
  • Collaborate with Graphic Designers, the Social Media Director, and communications teams on cohesive visual campaigns.
  • Communicate complex topics such as blockchain, climate finance, and MRV through simple visual narratives.
  • Support rapid-turnaround edits for events and time-sensitive developments.
  • Work with web and communications teams to embed video into landing pages, blogs, and presentations.
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets, templates, and raw footage.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in video editing and motion design.
  • Ability to move quickly from idea to execution with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong visual instincts, pacing, and storytelling structure.
  • Comfort working across multiple projects simultaneously and meeting quick deadlines.
  • Passion for climate action, sustainability, or technology storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Familiarity with quick-turn tools such as Adobe Express, Canva, or CapCut.
  • Bonus: experience with 3D or visual effects tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender.
  • Familiarity with cloud collaboration tools such as Trello or Teams.
  • Portfolio samples showing social video, explainer, and interview/recap edits.
