Description

  • Build and refine standardized UI components with a focus on quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity.
  • Conduct code reviews and implementation reviews to ensure pixel-perfect execution and design consistency.
  • Publish, document, and maintain components in a centralized design system library.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to integrate design system components into existing products and shared UI infrastructure.
  • Serve as a consultant and mentor to other engineering teams on design system usage and extension.
  • Create live prototypes and proofs of concept to validate new patterns, workflows, and UI paradigms before full development.
  • Partner closely with Product Design, Software Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to evolve the design system.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in front-end or UI engineering.
  • Experience working on enterprise-scale or complex professional software.
  • Prior contributions to a frontend design system at scale.
  • Experience integrating UI components into a complex ecosystem.
  • Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern front-end tooling.
  • Expert use of AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including translating design into code and collaborating on component architecture and responsive principles.
  • Familiarity with Storybook or similar component environments.
  • Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and UI performance optimization.
  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains is a plus.
