Description

  • Develop and execute an integrated regional PR and communications strategy for Southeast Asia, aligned with global positioning and local market realities.
  • Adapt messaging for restricted or smaller markets with a focus on compliance-safe communications and reputation management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with top-tier business, financial, and tech media across the region.
  • Secure high-quality coverage through interviews, op-eds, commentary, and feature stories.
  • Position Binance spokespeople as thought leaders on crypto, blockchain, financial innovation, and regulation-aware growth.
  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Policy teams to ensure external communications are accurate, compliant, and risk-appropriate.
  • Support communications related to regulatory developments, market restrictions, and compliance milestones.
  • Act as a communications partner during issues management and crisis scenarios.
  • Lead PR planning and execution for product launches, partnerships, corporate announcements, and regional campaigns.
  • Manage local PR agencies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advise internal stakeholders on media strategy and public positioning.
  • Track PR performance and deliver monthly and quarterly reports with insights, risks, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or corporate affairs.
  • Strong background in financial services, fintech, technology, crypto, or other regulated industries.
  • Direct, hands-on experience managing multi-market or regional PR strategies in Asia, particularly Japan and Korea.
  • Excellent media instincts with strong storytelling and message framing skills.
  • High level of regulatory awareness and risk sensitivity.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining execution-focused.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Confidence advising senior leaders and spokespersons.
  • Fluency in English is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
  • Additional languages are an advantage.
