Description

  • Design and implement cross-platform mobile features for Android and iOS using modern C++.
  • Develop features for an in-house Chromium-based mobile browser kernel.
  • Develop features for an in-house mobile game engine using OpenGL ES and native graphics technologies.
  • Integrate AI capabilities such as on-device inference, LLMs, intelligent agents, and AI-powered user experiences.
  • Optimize mobile and edge AI components for latency, memory, CPU/GPU utilization, power efficiency, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features across Android, iOS, and shared C++ infrastructure.
  • Integrate third-party data sources, AI services, SDKs, and APIs.
  • Write and execute unit tests, troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and improve application performance and stability.
  • Balance responsiveness, reliability, efficiency, maintainability, and user experience in mobile systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development experience, including significant mobile or cross-platform development.
  • Strong C++ experience, including C++14 or later.
  • Experience developing across both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Android internals, including SurfaceFlinger and the graphics/rendering pipeline.
  • Familiarity with iOS system architecture and native development concepts.
  • Strong understanding of Linux memory management, POSIX APIs, computer networking, and cross-platform C++ applications.
  • Knowledge of OpenGL/OpenGL ES and mobile graphics rendering.
  • Understanding of modern AI architectures, including Transformers and attention mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, agentic workflows, on-device AI, model deployment, quantization, and inference optimization.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with shared C++ libraries, mobile AI deployment, inference optimization, quantization, pruning, KV-cache optimization, or frameworks such as llama.cpp, ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow Lite, or Core ML is preferred.
  • Basic ARM architecture and assembly knowledge, multimodal or speech AI experience, open-source contributions, and Android/iOS performance optimization experience are preferred.
