Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect, cultivate new business, and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities within a defined region or geography.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to grow test utilization in the territory.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide market feedback to help evolve the offering.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers in a defined territory.
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record with strong selling, listening, presentation, and customer-needs assessment skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Must act with urgency and a focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess medical professionals’ needs and coordinate logistics through consultative selling and problem solving.
  • Strong desire to work independently in a startup environment with internal drive to succeed.
  • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Ability to use discretion and professionalism when handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment is preferred.
  • Women’s health background is preferred.
  • Clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
  • Convertible book of business is preferred.
