Description

  • Create and nurture relationships between Big Health UK and NHS Scotland teams, including Primary Care, Effective Prescribing, ADTCs and Scottish Government Digital Mental Health teams.
  • Develop and execute market access and implementation strategies to embed Big Health’s digital therapeutics in NHS Scotland services.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to NHS teams, including quality improvement work, training, and development of educational materials.
  • Lead collaborative real-world evaluations with NHS partners to measure clinical impact and effectiveness of different implementation channels.
  • Build and maintain an active community of engaged NHS referrers and clinical champions across regions to drive adoption.
  • Act as an external champion and spokesperson for digital therapeutics through written content and presentations at webinars and conferences.
  • Act as the first line of clinical support in the UK for in-hours clinical risk escalation, reporting to and working with the UK Medical Director.
  • Monitor system-level clinical priorities and align Big Health activities with NHS policy and service goals.

Requirements

  • Current professional registration as a clinical pharmacist.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in the NHS in Scotland.
  • Must live and work in Scotland and be able to work part-time (2 days per week).
  • Deep understanding of Primary Care and Area Drug & Therapeutic Committee (ADTC) teams, workflows, and where digital therapeutics can integrate.
  • Established network of colleagues across primary care and multidisciplinary roles in Scotland.
  • Experience bringing innovative products to market and driving adoption within NHS clinical settings.
  • Experience designing or leading real-world evaluations and measuring service impact.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural and behavioural change in healthcare settings (e.g., large-scale prescribing initiatives or digital implementations).
  • Strong project management, communication skills, and attention to detail; openness to feedback and collaborative working.
