Description

  • Oversee the full revenue cycle from claims submission through final reimbursement.
  • Track and manage accounts receivable, including follow-ups on unpaid claims and collection issues.
  • Investigate denied claims, identify errors or missing information, and resolve denials.
  • Resubmit claims with corrections and verify accuracy to reduce reimbursement delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all billing activities in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Support backend billing tasks related to claim correction and resubmission.
  • Ensure billing processes align with HIPAA and other patient confidentiality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical billing with exposure to revenue cycle management and accounts receivable processes.
  • Experience with claim denial management and collections processes.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Proficiency with virtual office tools, EHR systems, and communication platforms.
  • Strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient data confidentiality requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work US time zones, including PST, EST, and CST.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable home office setup with at least 25 Mbps internet, backup connection, Intel Core i5 7th Gen or equivalent, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage with 50% free space, 720p webcam, Windows 10 or later, noise-canceling headset, and a quiet dedicated workspace.
