Description

  • Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle management from claims submission to final reimbursement.
  • Track and manage accounts receivable, including follow-ups on outstanding balances and unpaid claims.
  • Investigate denied claims, identify errors or required corrections, and resolve denial issues.
  • Resubmit corrected claims and handle related backend billing tasks to prevent reimbursement delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of billing activities in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient data confidentiality standards.
  • Communicate with customers or internal stakeholders to resolve billing and collection issues.
  • Perform billing operations efficiently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical billing within a dental practice setting.
  • Proficiency with dental billing software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Denticon.
  • Experience with claim denial management and collections processes.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service and critical thinking skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient data confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work in US time zones, including PST, EST, or CST.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable work setup with at least 25 Mbps internet and a backup connection.
  • Intel Core i5 7th Generation or equivalent processor, 8 GB RAM, and 256 GB storage with at least 50% free space.
  • 720p webcam, Windows 10 or later, noise-canceling headset, and a quiet, organized workspace.
