Description

  • Collaborate with engineers, product leaders, and healthcare technology experts to turn ideas into working prototypes.
  • Experiment with AI tools, large language models, and automation frameworks to speed up development cycles.
  • Work on healthcare solutions involving FHIR-based data exchange, digital quality measurement, and clinical workflows.
  • Translate complex healthcare challenges into working proof-of-concept applications.
  • Participate in iterative design sprints and present prototypes to internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities where AI can create measurable impact and advocate for those ideas using data.
  • Take real ownership of problems, data, and deliverables from day one in a fast-moving team.

Requirements

  • Completed a college degree within the last 18 months; candidates from the classes of '25 or '26 only will be considered.
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning technology deeply, though a software engineering background is not required.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools, including hands-on experimentation with LLMs, automation, or AI-assisted workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where requirements change rapidly.
  • Coursework or project experience in health informatics, computer science, data science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FHIR or other healthcare data standards is preferred.
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar languages is preferred.
  • Prior internship or project work in healthcare, biotech, or health-tech is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, or with API-based development, is preferred.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card required; sponsorship is not offered.
  • US residency for at least the past 3 years is required.
  • Ability to meet Public Trust requirements, including a successful US government background investigation, is required.
