Description

  • Design and extend agent workflows, including routing, tool calling, human approval, guardrails, and fallback chains.
  • Develop and maintain FastAPI services with REST and SSE streaming, async SQLAlchemy, Alembic migrations, and JWT authentication.
  • Implement RAG retrieval and evidence grounding across technical documentation and historical work orders.
  • Build and own evaluation systems using replay testing, golden traces, fake-LLM unit tests, and CI-based behavior-drift detection.
  • Manage AI cost and reliability controls, including tenant token budgets, rate limits, usage tracking, and multi-model routing.
  • Define and version schemas and API contracts, with automated testing against OpenAPI specifications.
  • Integrate AI agents with ERP and third-party systems and contribute to spec-driven code generation.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 18 months building production LLM or AI systems.
  • Strong Python experience building production services, including async programming, typing, testing, and packaging.
  • Production experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent.
  • Experience with tool calling, structured output, and evaluation of non-deterministic systems.
  • Strong backend and API design skills, including schema design, versioning, REST/SSE, and event-driven patterns.
  • Strong relational database skills, preferably PostgreSQL, including query performance analysis beyond ORM usage.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services including ECS Fargate, Bedrock, S3, and SQS/SNS.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices.
