Description

  • Manage loan closing activities, including preparing and validating Closing Disclosures and closing packages.
  • Respond to closing and funding inquiries and resolve discrepancies involving fees, documentation, and loan conditions.
  • Apply regulatory, investor, and internal guidelines to support compliant disclosures, closings, and funding.
  • Maintain accurate loan data and closing documentation in accordance with system requirements.
  • Manage an assigned closing pipeline, prioritize workloads, and coordinate timelines to meet closing deadlines.
  • Maintain loan statuses, support reporting, and identify potential delays proactively.
  • Partner with settlement agents, borrowers, loan officers, and internal teams on complex loan scenarios.
  • Support audit readiness through accurate documentation and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in mortgage funding, loan closing, transaction processing, and issue resolution required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mortgage closing and funding processes, including complex transactions.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Knowledge of mortgage documentation review, funding requirements, and closing coordination.
  • Understanding of regulatory and investor requirements affecting disclosures, compliance, and funding.
  • Ability to assess risks and resolve non-routine closing issues.
  • Experience using loan systems, reporting tools, and platforms to monitor pipelines and discrepancies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with borrowers, settlement agents, loan officers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and provide team guidance.
