Description

  • Design and build new features and enhancements for global ticketing platforms.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability during massive traffic spikes.
  • Create backend services and APIs for mission-critical infrastructure and partner integrations.
  • Scale distributed systems to handle requests ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, business analysts, and product managers on technical solutions.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to maintain best practices and code quality.
  • Develop consistent, well-tested code using open source programming languages and frameworks.
  • Implement security measures to help prevent fraud and malicious bot attacks.
  • Define, develop, and maintain REST-based interfaces.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant software development experience in a professional environment.
  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency with C# and strong knowledge of .NET and .NET Core ecosystems.
  • Understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience developing API services used by multiple systems in AWS.
  • Experience with large-scale, high-performance transactional systems and platforms.
  • Solid technical foundation in service-oriented architectures and web services.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Ability to execute code quality and deployment lifecycle standards.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience mentoring less senior colleagues.
  • Ability to learn new languages, skills, and technologies quickly with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript (nice to have).
  • Experience with ReactJS or NextJS (nice to have).
  • Experience with Kafka, Docker, and Terraform (nice to have).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or AWS DynamoDB (nice to have).
  • Experience with Git version control and Gitflow (nice to have).
  • Experience with TDD and/or BDD (nice to have).
  • Experience in ticketing, inventory management systems, or e-commerce (nice to have).
  • Employer does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.

  • Base salary range of $130,309 to $135,000.
