Description

  • Design and develop data analytics tools, automated validation frameworks, and dashboards for Finance Operations and Controllership.
  • Drive upstream data hygiene by partnering with source-system owners to fix data issues at their origin.
  • Own data dictionaries, lineage documentation, quality scorecards, and master data management standards for critical controllership data assets.
  • Partner with CIO and IT teams on integration strategy and support Snowflake data warehouse deployment.
  • Lead end-to-end M&A data workstreams, including due diligence, data quality assessment, and integration planning.
  • Design and execute data mapping, cleansing, migration, and consolidation plans for post-acquisition integration.
  • Build and operate ETL and ELT pipelines that remediate data quality issues before data reaches downstream systems.
  • Develop repeatable data integration frameworks using AI-assisted profiling, matching, and anomaly detection.
  • Co-design audit-ready data pipelines with traceable lineage, audit trails, and supporting evidence for external audit.
  • Build close-support tools and self-service analytics capabilities for finance and controllership teams.
  • Serve as the data enablement partner to AI builders and process owners by validating input data quality and creating feedback loops.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Technology, Engineering, Product, Revenue Operations, and Legal to manage cross-functional data projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics.
  • Strong current proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Hands-on experience building pipelines and shipping data tools, not just directing others.
  • Experience with upstream data quality remediation, master data management, and data governance in a finance or accounting environment.
  • Demonstrated M&A data integration experience, including due diligence, data mapping, migration, and post-acquisition consolidation.
  • Ability to build senior-level relationships, lead cross-functional projects end to end, and influence without direct authority across global teams.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting processes or FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Practical familiarity with SOX compliance and IT General Controls sufficient to design audit-ready data pipelines and support internal and external auditors.
  • Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse is preferred.
  • Experience with BI platforms such as Sigma is preferred.
  • Experience enabling AI/ML teams with clean data pipelines and using AI code-generation tools in day-to-day development is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience leading data teams is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth, publicly traded technology company, digital transformation environment, public safety, defense, or regulated industry is preferred.
  • Experience with audit management or financial close platforms and ERP data integration requirements is preferred.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
