Description

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to SIEM alerts and security incidents.
  • Provide clients with technical guidance and recommendations to improve their security posture.
  • Handle, track, analyze, document, and resolve security-related tickets and events.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, consultants, and IT professionals on information security issues.
  • Address vulnerabilities involving spam, viruses, spyware, malware, and other threats.
  • Monitor vulnerability intelligence from vendors and third parties.
  • Administer and maintain application, web, and infrastructure security measures.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly status reports, daily technical task reports, and contract deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications management, electrical engineering, or a related field, or four years of equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience working with Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Proficiency in at least three security technologies, such as SIEM, firewalls, DLP, WAF, vulnerability scanning, IPS/IDS, SOC operations, endpoint security, or malware protection.
  • Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, and DIACAP frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, UNIX, Linux, AIX, Solaris, and VMware platforms.
  • Experience analyzing IIS, SQL, firewall, IPS/IDS, Windows, web, and mail log events.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network devices, vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and Windows Event IDs.
  • Ability to analyze IANA-assigned ports and resolve complex technical and business problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, make decisions using multiple variables, and interact with all management levels.
  • Experience managing PCI, HIPAA, or SSAE16 certification is preferred.
  • CISSP, CISA, GIAC, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, Microsoft, Juniper, or Check Point certifications are preferred or a plus.
