Description

  • Lead medical strategy and planning for one or more key accounts and challenge internal and client thinking when appropriate.
  • Serve as a trusted internal scientific resource for agency teams.
  • Educate creative, strategy, editorial, and account teams on the medical and scientific aspects of assigned accounts.
  • Review patient and HCP promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy, strategic alignment, and quality output.
  • Guide and review creative content for appropriate imagery and promotional language that complies with regulatory guidelines.
  • Draft outlines or clinical descriptions to support copywriter efforts within a scientifically rigorous and strategically sound framework.
  • Serve as the team’s scientific representative during client medical-legal-regulatory review of promotional materials.
  • Support new business development by researching background information, helping shape proposal strategy, and participating in pitch presentations.
  • Represent the agency with clients, KOLs, vendors, and healthcare providers as needed, remotely or in person.
  • Participate in internal brand planning processes and strategic brand workshops, and lead internal educational presentations on clinical and regulatory topics.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in a promotional pharmaceutical agency setting, including patient and HCP marketing.
  • Prior pharmaceutical healthcare advertising agency experience is required.
  • Rare disease experience and patient background are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate scientific and clinical data.
  • Experience conducting literature searches and summarizing findings for different audiences.
  • Knowledge of FDA and OPDP regulations and guidelines for HCP and consumer promotion.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced degree such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent.

Benefits

  • Remote work arrangement.
  • Salary range of $120,000 to $137,000 per year.
