Description

  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects from project management and financial perspectives, ensuring successful planning, execution, and outcomes.
  • Serve as primary client-facing project contact and internal information hub, leading client project status calls and internal status meetings.
  • Actively drive timelines and schedules, update project plans, and flag concerns to appropriate department leads in a timely manner.
  • Develop, monitor, and reconcile budgets; provide internal and external financial information and discuss corrective actions with clients and internal teams as needed.
  • Update PM tools, run regular reports, track and phase projects, and manage traffic/status sheets.
  • Invoice clients and manage project finances to achieve Avalere Health KPIs.
  • Review project management processes, identify improvements, and implement resolutions to improve delivery.
  • Mentor and guide team members on best practices, provide project feedback, and contribute to action plans and opportunity generation for accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years of project management experience within a Medical Communications agency.
  • Experience working on a global Publications account is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage project finances, including budget development, reconciliation, and client invoicing.
  • Demonstrated client-facing experience acting as primary project contact and leading status calls.
  • Experience developing and maintaining timelines/schedules, PM tools, reporting, and traffic management.
  • Track record of reviewing and improving project management processes and mentoring other team members.
  • Comfortable working in a flexible/hybrid/remote environment and liaising with cross-functional internal stakeholders (e.g., Client Service and Editorial leads).
