Description

  • Manage smaller accounts and standard projects independently and support management of larger, more complex accounts.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules, serving as the internal information hub to ensure milestones are met.
  • Create and manage project budgets, handle out-of-scope issues, perform financial reconciliation, and support account financial reporting and invoicing.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and balance workload and capacity across teams to ensure projects are adequately staffed and supported.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and internal/external stakeholders, provide status updates, and flag risks or concerns promptly.
  • Drive internal and client status calls and ensure status sheets and client responses are updated and actioned in a timely manner.
  • Refine project management processes to resolve inefficiencies and implement feedback from debriefs.
  • Identify and generate new opportunities within existing and new accounts where possible.
  • Mentor Associate Project Managers and Project Coordinators and support workload prioritisation and development of junior team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within a Medical Communications agency.
  • Working knowledge of the relevant therapy area(s).
  • Solid project management knowledge including financial reporting and budget management.
  • Experience with project management software and strong time management and project prioritisation skills.
  • Client-facing experience with proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Experience developing budgets, managing out-of-scope tasks, and performing financial reconciliation.
  • Ability to coordinate resources and manage project staffing and capacity.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members.
  • Comfort participating in and driving client and internal meetings and implementing project feedback.
