Description

  • Perform descriptive and advanced statistical analyses using large patient and claims databases to support economic and outcomes modeling.
  • Design analytical studies, protocols, methods, pricing impact models, and health economic models.
  • Develop concept proposals, scopes of work, budgets, and analysis plans.
  • Independently manage workflow and contribute directly to research and analysis activities.
  • Collaborate across organizational analytics teams to identify and deliver innovations for clients.
  • Provide analytic support and advisory services on healthcare evidence, market access, and policy topics.
  • Conduct legislative strategy, regulatory analysis, and quantitative modeling of proposed and enacted policies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or higher in computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, epidemiology, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of SAS or SQL programming experience.
  • Experience analyzing large administrative pharmacy and medical claims databases, including public and private sources.
  • Experience importing, transforming, cleaning, merging, and editing data with extensive quality and accuracy checks.
  • Working knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and/or econometric skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple work streams with limited supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and decision-making skills with a commitment to meeting goals and deadlines.
  • Positive, flexible, and self-motivated attitude with strong teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment and able to be productive and self-guided.
  • Healthcare policy and analysis background is preferred.
  • Experience analyzing healthcare survey data, such as the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey and Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey, is preferred.
  • Experience with SAS Macros is preferred.
  • Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is preferred.
  • Experience interpreting statistical output and analyses is preferred.
