Description

  • Lead cross-platform social strategy across patient and HCP audiences.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on social engagement, platform trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop strategic recommendations for organic and paid social within integrated campaign planning.
  • Identify relevant platforms, audience behaviors, content formats, and engagement trends to inform campaign direction.
  • Develop and lead influencer, KOL, DOL, and ambassador strategies aligned to brand and audience objectives.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and manage KOLs, DOLs, patient ambassadors, and creator/influencer partners.
  • Partner with Account, Strategy, Media, Analytics, and external vendors to align social strategy with campaign objectives.
  • Present social recommendations, strategic POVs, and platform opportunities to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Translate social insights and performance trends into actionable recommendations and future planning.
  • Drive social-first thinking across campaign ideation, planning, optimization, and innovation.
  • Help establish scalable social processes, best practices, and strategic frameworks across the organization.
  • Mentor and guide junior social team members as the function expands.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in social strategy, digital marketing, integrated media strategy, or social media planning.
  • Experience developing cross-platform social strategies for brands, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of organic and paid social ecosystems, platform trends, content formats, and audience engagement behaviors.
  • Experience developing or managing influencer, ambassador, KOL, or DOL programs.
  • Experience advising clients and presenting strategic recommendations in client-facing settings.
  • Ability to translate social opportunities, performance insights, and audience behavior into clear strategic direction.
  • Experience working collaboratively across account, strategy, media, analytics, and vendor teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing dynamics is preferred.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
