Description

  • Conduct ERP readiness assessments, develop roadmaps, and advise clients on transformation decisions.
  • Collaborate with client leaders to define strategy, evaluate options, and align technology investments with mission outcomes.
  • Lead meetings, workshops, interviews, and executive briefings to build stakeholder alignment and manage third-party relationships.
  • Advise clients on Workday Payroll challenges, product capabilities, leading practices, and practical solutions.
  • Own the Workday Payroll product lifecycle, including roadmap definition, backlog prioritization, and delivery across configuration, integration, reporting, and technical teams.
  • Support biannual Workday releases, routine enhancements, platform stability, and continuous payroll process improvement.
  • Plan future-state payroll organizations that improve operational capacity and capability.
  • Collaborate across program management, change management, training, HR, Finance, and IT workstreams.
  • Contribute to methodology development, proposals, business development, thought leadership, and internal capability building.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience as a customer or systems implementer.
  • 3+ years of Workday Payroll product ownership experience, including other Workday HCM modules.
  • Experience managing agile release processes, including backlogs, roadmaps, prioritization, sprint planning, and change control.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workday Payroll and the broader Workday ecosystem.
  • Workday Payroll customer or implementer certification.
  • Strong functional knowledge of payroll processes, cross-functional impacts, Workday challenges, and leading practices.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Ability to independently lead client engagements and build trusted advisor relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Consulting, payroll/HCM transformation, mission-driven sector, payroll certification, sales, proposal writing, and business development experience preferred; periodic travel required.
