Description

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinicians to translate product requirements into technical plans.
  • Own end-to-end feature delivery, including design, implementation, testing, rollout, and iteration.
  • Design and implement APIs, data models, and integrations for member journeys, clinical workflows, and care coordination.
  • Contribute to architecture improvements that help teams build new experiences faster and with less duplication.
  • Build with reliability and performance in mind, including graceful failure modes, timeouts, and efficient queries.
  • Participate in design reviews and RFCs with a pragmatic, product-focused perspective.
  • Write well-tested code with meaningful unit tests and integration tests.
  • Instrument features with analytics in Mixpanel using consistent events and properties.
  • Help maintain dashboards and alerts that reflect real user outcomes.
  • Contribute to engineering standards through coding conventions, design patterns, documentation, and code reviews.

Requirements

  • ~4+ years of professional software engineering experience building product experiences in production environments.
  • Track record of owning and shipping features or projects in a modern web stack.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and design on user-facing features.
  • Strong full-stack skills, including API and schema design, backend logic, and UI development.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and at least one modern frontend framework, ideally React.
  • Experience with at least one cloud provider and infrastructure-as-code, such as Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of reliability, performance, and security fundamentals.
  • Comfort debugging across the stack using logs, traces, metrics, and data.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and meetings with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, or other regulated domains such as HIPAA, PHI, or SOC 2 is preferred.
  • Exposure to EHRs, wearables integrations, or other health data platforms is preferred.
