Description

Write educational content including video scripts, assessments, and text lessons.
Turn curriculum documents into clear, practical course and lesson plans.
Break down complex syllabus points into student-friendly explanations using VCE subject expertise.
Keep subject knowledge current by staying up to date with content and evidence-based teaching strategies.
Follow a detailed style guide to ensure content consistency and audience fit.
Manage multiple projects, prioritize time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
Collaborate with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads, and other team members to deliver accurate, engaging, on-brand content.
Share ideas and contribute to process improvements through feedback, workshops, and team discussions.

Requirements

Deep knowledge of secondary school VCE Health; VCE experience is required.
Previous experience with the VCE curriculum.
Strong understanding of how to create content that is effective for students.
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
Passion for education and learning design.
Comfortable working collaboratively and explaining your thinking clearly.
Confident using project management tools, or willing to learn.
Demonstrated success in the VCE curriculum, either as a teacher or student.
Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus.
Interest in learning design is desirable, with training provided if new to it.
Australian working rights are required.
