Description

  • Write educational content including video scripts, assessments, and text lessons.
  • Turn curriculum documents into clear, practical course and lesson plans.
  • Break down complex syllabus points into student-friendly explanations using VCE subject expertise.
  • Keep subject knowledge current by staying up to date with content and evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Follow a detailed style guide to ensure content consistency and audience fit.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads, and other team members to deliver accurate, engaging, on-brand content.
  • Share ideas and contribute to process improvements through feedback, workshops, and team discussions.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of secondary school VCE Health; VCE experience is required.
  • Previous experience with the VCE curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of how to create content that is effective for students.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Passion for education and learning design.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and explaining your thinking clearly.
  • Confident using project management tools, or willing to learn.
  • Demonstrated success in the VCE curriculum, either as a teacher or student.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus.
  • Interest in learning design is desirable, with training provided if new to it.
  • Australian working rights are required.
