Description

  • Write engaging educational content, including video scripts, assessments and text lessons.
  • Turn curriculum documents into clear, practical course and lesson plans that support teachers and students.
  • Break down complex syllabus points into student-friendly content using VCE subject expertise.
  • Keep subject knowledge current by staying up to date with curriculum content and evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Follow a detailed style guide to ensure content consistency and audience fit.
  • Manage multiple projects, organise time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Visual Content Designers, Subject Team Leads and other team members to deliver accurate, engaging, on-brand content.
  • Share ideas and contribute to process improvements through feedback, workshops and team discussions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with the VCE curriculum is required.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more VCE subject areas, particularly Health and Human Development, Physical Education, Business Management or Maths.
  • Deep knowledge of secondary school education.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Comfort working collaboratively and explaining your thinking clearly.
  • Confident using project management tools, or willingness to learn them.
  • Demonstrated success in the VCE curriculum, either as a teacher or student.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is a bonus.
  • Interest in learning design is an advantage, with training provided for candidates new to it.
  • Australian working rights are required for this role.
