Description

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of Atmosera's 24x7x365 Security Operations Center.
  • Own operational delivery of Atmosera's managed extended detection and response (MXDR) services.
  • Provide technical leadership across Microsoft security tools and services, including Defender XDR, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Entra ID Protection, Purview, and Security Copilot.
  • Lead operational readiness for incident response and threat operations.
  • Improve the maturity, scalability, and consistency of security operations through repeatable processes and automation.
  • Serve as the executive operational leader for client-facing security operations and executive client communication.
  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing security professionals.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs such as SLA/SLO attainment, MTTD, MTTR, analyst utilization, automation adoption, client satisfaction, alert quality, and service profitability.
  • Align Security Operations with Atmosera's strategic security program and relevant frameworks such as NIST CSF, MCSB, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency, client trust, and sustainable business growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • 5+ years of experience leading enterprise security operations or managed security services.
  • Demonstrated ability to run repeatable processes with strong attention to detail and a bias toward documentation.
  • Strong ability to translate complex topics into clear updates for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort working across remote, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to use data and customer signal to identify root causes and propose scalable solutions.
  • Strong executive presence, situational awareness, and sound business judgment.
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CIS, CCSP, Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst, Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator, ITIL Foundation, or ITIL Managing Professional.
  • Full-time role in the United States with ability to work from home or from a US office if local.
