Description

  • Scope analyses with the Commercial Brain, review its reasoning, and identify errors and unstated assumptions.
  • Serve as the second reviewer for commercial analyses and verify results before decisions are made.
  • Track expected outcomes against actual results through backfills, hypothesis tests, and falsification reviews.
  • Reconcile sales data with platform ground truth and resolve data-quality issues with providers.
  • Build automations that reduce manual analytical work.
  • Own recurring analyses across pricing, discounting, regional performance, and game lifecycle dynamics.
  • Define approaches for ambiguous commercial questions and convert them into repeatable AI skills and scripts.
  • Build business cases for forecasting, platform deals, bundles, ports, streaming, cloud gaming, and physical partnerships.
  • Develop metrics to measure commercialization performance.
  • Document judgment calls and present findings and recommendations to commercial and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in analytics, commercial strategy, or a related field.
  • Strong statistical foundations, including the ability to identify confounding variables and aggregation errors.
  • Experience building basic financial models and business cases from first principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience turning large, messy datasets into credible outputs.
  • Ability to read and identify errors in Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and experience building or iterating AI-assisted workflows.
  • High autonomy and experience owning outcomes in fast-moving, lightly structured environments.
  • Strong intellectual honesty and a rigorous approach to verification and written reasoning.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for games; games industry experience is preferred.
