Description

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data views, models, and tables using dbt.
  • Collaborate with data architects to shape and maintain BI data architecture.
  • Align data structures with specifications and support creation of new data feeds.
  • Build, enhance, and publish interactive dashboards and reports in ThoughtSpot and Tableau.
  • Use advanced visualization techniques to surface insights from complex datasets.
  • Optimize dashboard performance for responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Conduct peer reviews to validate report accuracy, logic, and data integrity.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to understand reporting needs and stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead client and partner training sessions on data specifications and reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, reporting documentation, and governance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence development, systems analysis, or data-focused IT roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience building data models and transformations using dbt.
  • Strong proficiency with ThoughtSpot, Tableau, and SQL, including advanced query writing.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and remain highly responsive.
  • Experience with healthcare or pharmacy data preferred.
  • Expert-level ThoughtSpot development experience, including TML, Liveboards, and embedded analytics, preferred.
  • Advanced SQL expertise, including performance tuning, complex joins, window functions, and large-scale datasets, preferred.
  • Experience designing governed semantic layers or shared data models, preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, Airflow, Looker, or Sigma, preferred.
  • Experience supporting external clients or working in a vendor/partner-facing environment, preferred.
  • Background working with healthcare claims, pharmacy data, EMR/EHR datasets, or specialty pharma analytics, preferred.
  • Experience operating in fast-growing, high-change, or startup-like environments, preferred.
  • Understanding of ETL, preferred.
