Description

  • Collect and analyze vibration and temperature data at client sites to determine maintenance needs.
  • Perform vibration data collection, software modeling, programming, and engineering evaluations.
  • Evaluate machinery health and condition through detailed vibration analysis.
  • Develop and maintain software models and programs that expand the vibration data analysis library.
  • Provide actionable client guidance, including recommending appropriate alarm levels in analytical tools.
  • Support hardware installation by recommending placement of machine condition sensing units.
  • Lead and grow AssetWatch’s predictive maintenance tool development program.
  • Expand condition monitoring capabilities beyond vibration analysis to include ultrasonic and oil/fluid analysis.
  • Collaborate with product development, installation, and customer support teams to create improved hardware and software solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with vibration data collection and analysis.
  • Experience with FFT analyzers and predictive/preventative maintenance software preferred.
  • Valid ISO Category II or higher vibration certification preferred, with continued certification expected.
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical fundamentals, including AC induction and DC motors.
  • Strong mechanical background with industrial equipment such as compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency with one or more analyzers that measure vibration spectra and time waveforms.
  • Ability to develop corrective actions based on field vibration analysis data, observations, and discussions with plant personnel.
  • Must be able to work on and around elevated fixed and rotating equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard PC applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort working in a startup environment, collaborating across levels, and wearing many hats as needed.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide personalized, professional service and continuous communication.
  • Demonstrated integrity and accountability in work.
