Description

  • Oversee all operations across a housing community portfolio.
  • Manage personnel functions including screening, hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and development of onsite staff.
  • Approve timesheets, salary requests, counseling documentation, and written evaluations.
  • Develop annual operating budgets and forecasts, and monitor income and expense performance.
  • Track rent collections, deposits, vendor invoices, and property closeout financial reporting.
  • Create annual marketing plans and leasing strategies to drive rentals and rent growth.
  • Handle resident complaints, concerns, and requests to support resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure administrative, leasing, and maintenance reporting is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Respond to property emergencies and coordinate staff response within company guidelines.
  • Monitor property appearance, inspections, service requests, make-ready work, and rehabilitation activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Four years of experience in the housing industry, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required, including ability to perform all on-site software functions.
  • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements required.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of work time annually.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position and may be subject to additional compliance requirements.

  • California pay range of $110,000 to $125,000 USD.
