Description

  • Draft, revise, and edit manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for scientific and medical conference publications.
  • Collaborate with the Publication Planning team to coordinate kickoff calls with investigators and establish publication timelines.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure publications are clear, accurate, and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Participate in meetings with clinical trial investigators and key opinion leaders to review and revise drafts.
  • Manage the editing and revision process to ensure timely completion of scientific publications.
  • Perform literature searches and stay current on developments in target therapy areas relevant to publications.
  • Interpret scientific literature, data, and other source materials for publication development.
  • Remain current on industry and company publication requirements and best practices.
  • Follow company publication policies and procedures and serve as a subject matter expert on internal processes and publication guidelines.

Requirements

  • MS, PhD, or PharmD, or 8+ years of experience writing scientific publications.
  • Professional credentials or certification such as CMPP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with endocrinology and/or rare disease is beneficial but not required.
  • Understanding of US and international publication regulations, requirements, and guidance, including ICMJE and Good Publication Practice.
  • Ability to work directly from data outputs and clinical documents such as protocols and clinical study reports.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to assimilate, interpret, and translate scientific content for appropriate audiences.
