Description

  • Own cloud, application, and zero-trust security architecture, blueprints, guardrails, and secure design patterns for AWS microservices.
  • Threat-model and secure AI/ML and LLM-powered features against AI-specific risks.
  • Build and scale detection engineering and monitoring pipelines across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
  • Lead security incident response through automated playbooks, root-cause investigations, threat hunting, and tabletop exercises.
  • Secure the SDLC through CI/CD automation, container security, vulnerability management, design reviews, and testing.
  • Conduct threat modeling and architecture reviews for distributed systems and data flows.
  • Serve as a technical security advisor to customers during security deep-dives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud security, application security, and security architecture for modern distributed environments.
  • Experience building detection engineering and SIEM/SOAR pipelines, analyzing logs at scale, and leading incident response and threat hunting.
  • Hands-on experience securing, monitoring, and investigating production Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Deep AWS experience securing and testing cloud-native architectures, including microservices, APIs, and containers.
  • Knowledge of AI security threats and production mitigations, including prompt injection, data leakage, model and supply-chain risks, and AI agent abuse.
  • Ability to work hands-on with architecture, code, configuration, and logs.
  • Strong communication skills, including explaining security controls to customer security teams, executives, and engineers.
  • Experience succeeding in a high-growth startup environment with autonomy and rapid execution.
  • Software or infrastructure engineering background and experience building production systems (preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD security tools, Terraform, vulnerability management, HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS, and AI security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, MITRE ATLAS, or NIST AI RMF (preferred).
