Description

  • Design treasury operations frameworks for cash management, funding coordination, collateral optimization, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Develop reconciliation processes and controls for daily and monthly reconciliations across positions, repo, swaps, cash, and prime broker statements.
  • Establish NAV oversight procedures and escalation protocols for pricing and valuation issues.
  • Create collateral monitoring systems to track exposures, margin requirements, haircuts, and optimization opportunities.
  • Build counterparty management frameworks to track metrics, financing rates, costs, credit limits, and relationship terms.
  • Develop treasury policies, SLAs, and performance metrics for outsourced and insourced functions.
  • Create exception management workflows to identify, research, document, and resolve books-and-records discrepancies.
  • Build treasury reporting and analytics outputs for management on exposures, financing costs, collateral utilization, and operational metrics.
  • Train treasury and operations teams on best practices, reconciliation, collateral management, and counterparty coordination.
  • Support special projects such as prime broker transitions, new financing arrangements, treasury system evaluations, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an Alternative Asset Manager, Hedge Fund Middle Office, Administrator, Institutional Investment Bank, or Prime Broker role.
  • Basic understanding of fixed income products, cash, OTC derivatives, and standard settlement mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, and IF/THEN statements.
  • Experience using Bloomberg data functions for live and historic market data.
  • Detailed understanding of how P&L components are calculated across security types.
  • Working knowledge of Aladdin, Charles River, or Bloomberg AIM is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Comfort operating across operations, accounting, and trading teams.
  • Detail-oriented and able to bring structure and control to treasury workflows without full-time embedded authority.
