Description

  • Advise principals and founders on administrative functions across office administration, facilities, technology systems, HR operations, compliance coordination, and vendor relationships.
  • Design and implement administrative infrastructure, including policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Advise on HR strategy and operations, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and employment law compliance.
  • Establish corporate governance and board administration frameworks, including board materials, meeting protocols, entity management, and regulatory filings.
  • Build compliance and risk management frameworks and support regulatory examinations and insurance program structure.
  • Assess and optimize technology and information systems, including security, continuity, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and IT improvements.
  • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts for services such as office leases, IT providers, insurance brokers, and benefits administrators.
  • Streamline administrative processes through document management, workflow automation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Support budgeting and resource planning for administrative functions.
  • Lead special projects such as office relocations, system implementations, restructuring, and policy development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • MBA or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Professional experience within a family office or alternative asset firm.
  • Prior hands-on experience as a Chief Administrative Officer.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing administration functions for an alternative asset firm or family office.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
