Description

  • Review proposals and SOWs, identify delivery risks, and challenge unrealistic assumptions before signing.
  • Translate contracts into integrated delivery plans covering milestones, UATs, dependencies, stakeholders, and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with PMO, recruiting, and staffing teams to ensure team readiness before kickoff.
  • Establish client communication channels, delivery workflows, validation processes, escalation paths, KPIs, and sign-off procedures.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple projects and teams while monitoring progress, risks, client satisfaction, and commitments.
  • Lead monthly or quarterly client reviews and serve as the escalation point for cross-project issues.
  • Review change requests for estimation quality and delivery risk, and negotiate scope, timeline, and trade-offs.
  • Protect delivery margins by monitoring estimated versus actual costs and addressing deviations early.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and refer them to the Account Executive team.
  • Run post-mortems, capture lessons learned, and implement standardized delivery processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software delivery experience in a services or consulting environment.
  • 3+ years as a Delivery Manager, Engagement Manager, Program Manager, or equivalent, overseeing multiple projects or teams for the same client.
  • Experience owning account-level client relationships, including steering committees, business reviews, escalations, and negotiated trade-offs.
  • Hands-on experience translating contracts and SOWs into delivery plans with milestones, UATs, and inter-project dependencies.
  • Experience tracking estimated versus actual costs and managing delivery margins.
  • Strong risk management skills, including identifying, assigning, logging, and mitigating risks.
  • Experience coordinating with pre-sales, PMO, staffing, and recruiting teams.
  • Experience running post-mortems and driving cross-project process improvements.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Daily use of AI tools for planning, reporting, and documentation; C1 English proficiency and confidence with senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering AI, data, or ML projects is preferred.
  • Experience with US clients in a nearshore model, building delivery governance from scratch, or holding PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certifications is preferred.
