Description

  • Independently perform all aspects of security controls assessments in alignment with NIST 800-53 Revision 5.
  • Ensure understanding and application of ATO documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate testing activities with stakeholders and the team lead.
  • Develop a security assessment plan with input from stakeholders.
  • Conduct and lead assessment interviews and tests.
  • Manage assessment evidence and documentation.
  • Provide recommendations to improve the security posture of assessed systems.
  • Handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in accordance with safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years leading security controls assessments.
  • Experience performing assessments in support of the federal government.
  • Proficient understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Expertise in NIST 800-53 Revision 5.
  • Understanding of the ATO process.
  • Strong communication and task management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or a related field preferred.
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • CSAM/JCAM experience preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal contract requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
  • Public Trust eligibility required.
