Description

  • Develop and implement the global quality training strategy and annual capability-development roadmap.
  • Lead the Factory Certified Auditor (FCA) program and establish a train-the-trainer framework for Quality Specialists.
  • Coach, qualify, and certify Quality Specialists as FCA trainers across sourcing regions.
  • Manage the full FCA certification lifecycle, including curriculum, readiness assessments, delivery, evaluations, certification, calibration, and recertification.
  • Design and deliver quality training for internal teams, vendors, factories, and external partners in classroom, virtual, and factory-floor settings.
  • Convert quality standards, SOPs, inspection criteria, and technical specifications into practical learning materials, workshops, and assessments.
  • Assess learner competency, provide coaching and development plans, and maintain certification records and governance documentation.
  • Partner with regional quality teams to identify capability gaps and keep training aligned with product, process, and quality requirements.
  • Measure training effectiveness using assessment results, defect data, yield improvement, repeat findings, and corrective-action performance.
  • Improve training methodologies and certification processes through feedback, benchmarking, root-cause analysis, and quality best practices.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in textiles, garment manufacturing, apparel engineering, quality management, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in apparel or technical product quality, quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience designing and delivering training for internal employees and external vendor or factory teams.
  • Hands-on experience with an FCA or comparable auditor qualification program, including facilitation, assessment, certification, and calibration.
  • Knowledge of technical performance products, including waterproofing, seam sealing or taping, bonding, workmanship, and functional testing.
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, practical learning materials.
  • Fluent spoken and strong written English for training, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, influencing, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze assessment results, defect data, and quality metrics to improve learning outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to vendors and factories across Asia; work aligned with Vietnam time zone.
  • Formal train-the-trainer, instructional design, or adult-learning certification (preferred).
  • Experience with digital learning platforms, virtual facilitation, learning-management systems, Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, or statistical quality tools (preferred).
  • Additional relevant Asian language skills, such as Vietnamese, Chinese, Bengali, Indonesian, or Sinhala (preferred).
