Description

  • Oversee and guide software engineers and technical team members to deliver high-quality consumer-facing digital solutions.
  • Define and manage technical architecture and technology stack for scalable, secure, high-performing, SEO/GEO-optimized solutions.
  • Leverage AI tools, processes, and vendor partnerships to deliver AI-enabled customer experience solutions such as personalization, product finders, commerce, and agentic experiences.
  • Improve delivery speed and efficiency through AI-enabled delivery practices while maintaining enterprise quality and security.
  • Provide thought leadership on AI-enabled digital solutions, web and mobile trends, customer experience enhancements, and performance optimization.
  • Champion composable architectures and platforms that support enterprise digital experience platforms.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate and optimize customer experience solutions over time.
  • Mentor team members and build expertise across digital, e-commerce, and customer-facing solutions.
  • Manage multiple delivery squads, including timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional alignment with business goals.
  • Build client relationships, provide strategic advice, identify growth opportunities, and escalate risks or issues when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technology leadership role building and scaling web and mobile app experiences.
  • Experience delivering digital solutions across customer accounts, products, transactions, personalization, A/B testing, real-time webhooks, and data streams.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, processes, and teams to accelerate software development.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering, system architecture, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise clients, manage complex technology projects, and build strong client relationships.
  • Proven ability to mentor teams and foster a high-performance culture in large multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience contributing to executive-level strategic planning, including build-versus-buy recommendations.
  • Experience identifying and managing technical, staffing, scoping, and client relationship risks in an e-commerce context.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Calm, positive, supportive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Preferred: Based in the Greater Toronto Area and able to work hours aligned to ET.
  • Preferred: Experience in vendor selection and management.
