Description

  • Guide end-to-end implementation of CRM, CDP, and marketing automation systems from discovery and planning through requirements and handoff for code implementation.
  • Design MarTech stacks and recommend tools and architectures to solve business challenges and increase value from existing tools.
  • Provide technical specifications and requirements to internal engineering teams and collaborate with technical project managers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead implementation projects, manage client communications on project deliverables, and act as a subject-matter expert in client presentations and standups.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into data flows and code requirements for multiple data sources and destinations.
  • Support marketing analytics and reporting needs, including auditing integrations and attribution data.
  • Optimize existing lifecycle programs and migrations by improving data schemas, data accuracy, and processes to enable new use cases and personalized messaging.
  • Map user journeys, define user states and events, and design multi/omnichannel transactional and marketing messaging flows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • 5+ years of experience integrating third-party tools and involvement in planning and developing ETL solutions.
  • 2+ years of direct experience working with CDP tools such as Segment, mParticle, Tealium, or Treasure Data (or similar).
  • 2+ years of experience in client or key stakeholder interaction.
  • Proven experience designing and architecting CDP or Marketing Automation integrations and speaking through the full implementation process.
  • Experience working with APIs, mobile SDKs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS (EC2/S3/Lambda/Redshift), GCP, Heroku, or iPaaS.
  • Experience configuring automated campaigns and journeys in lifecycle marketing tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, customer.io) and understanding multi/omnichannel messaging and marketing attribution.
  • Proficiency with JSON and SQL/data modeling best practices, and experience with data activation tools such as reverse ETL (Hightouch, Census).
  • Proficient with scripting languages and lambda functions, able to present technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences; platform experience with Shopify or Magento is a plus.
