Description

  • Collaborate with design teams across time zones to conceptualize, storyboard, animate, and edit videos aligned with brand messaging.
  • Work closely with designers and video producers to maintain a cohesive visual style across projects.
  • Add sound effects and other sound design elements to bring animations to life.
  • Coordinate with voice over artists to secure recordings that fit the animations.
  • Edit interviews and event videos, and add motion graphics according to stakeholder creative briefs.
  • Select music tracks that support the storytelling and narrative of videos.
  • Stay current with industry trends in motion graphics, animation, and video software.
  • Support in-house shoots and travel globally as needed.
  • Use video editing software such as Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Requirements

  • Must include both a resume and portfolio to be considered.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Animation, Film Production, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a 2D Motion Designer and video editor.
  • Experience in corporate tech or agency environments is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing 2D animation and video editing work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail and composition.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • 3D animation skills, filming skills, and design skills are a plus.

  • CA base pay range of $86,000 to $128,000 USD.
