Description

  • Establish and maintain the connection between Facilities and external low-voltage design and integration vendors.
  • Conduct site visits to assess power, cooling, structured cabling, network capacity, and security needs.
  • Develop technical site plans with third-party architects, low-voltage design firms, and engineering teams.
  • Gather and evaluate infrastructure requirements for site builds and related projects.
  • Translate technical findings into actionable Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards and security policies.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support project success.
  • Provide clear guidance, including pushing back when needed to keep projects aligned.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a Network and/or Systems Infrastructure role.
  • 4+ years of experience in infrastructure analysis, site build, and M&A assessments.
  • Proven experience gathering and evaluating infrastructure requirements.
  • Strong ability to translate technical details into actionable SOWs.
  • Strong understanding of construction phases and construction drawings.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including third-party architects, low-voltage design firms, and engineering teams.
  • Extensive experience with vendor-agnostic network switching, wireless, and routing.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and managing a ticket queue.
  • Ability to conduct thorough site assessments covering power, cooling, structured cabling, network capacity, and security.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to travel for remote deployments when required.
  • Must be able and willing to lift 50 pounds.
  • Preferred: Current or obtainable BICSI RCDD certification.
  • Preferred: Certification in project management or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with M&A processes and assessments.
