Description

  • Work with multidisciplinary engineers and specialists through integration, test, verification, and demonstration activities across the AUV lifecycle.
  • Ensure programs are executed to requirements, on schedule, and on budget.
  • Own technical outcomes by tracking system performance, managing incident response and after-action reviews, and using metrics to drive improvements.
  • Develop project scope, manage scope changes, identify and track risks, and maintain project schedules.
  • Support contract management activities including statements of work, change orders, financial management, terms and conditions, and data rights assertions.
  • Manage deliverables and provide routine status updates and final delivery to the customer.
  • Execute on broad or ambiguous requirements from external clients and serve as a trusted partner to engineering teams.
  • Interface with international customers and represent the technical aspects of the Maritime portfolio.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer for follow-on business capture efforts and activities.
  • Support integration, testing, and debug efforts, and lead formal and offshore AUV test events when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in systems engineering or a related field, with a passion for hardware development.
  • 7+ years of robotics experience in technical project management and/or systems engineering, or related experience in a relevant industry.
  • Ability to conduct system testing, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading or executing product development for a system from TRL 3-8.
  • Understanding of government contract structure and reporting.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance that can be maintained.
  • Preferred: experience operating robotic systems offshore.
  • Preferred: experience integrating subsea sensors.
  • Preferred: experience with government acquisition and reporting processes and government contracts.
  • Preferred: experience interfacing with global customers.
