Description

Manage end-to-end test campaigns from lab-based hardware-in-the-loop integration through field validation testing.
Define test strategies that ensure systems meet DoD standards and operational objectives.
Develop, execute, and report on system integration, developmental, operational, and customer acceptance tests.
Create requirements-based, scenario-driven, and operationally relevant test methods with traceability and test metrics.
Oversee Test Readiness Reviews, manage test incidents, and track deficiencies across internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze system performance data in lab and field environments and produce actionable findings and formal test reports.
Coordinate closely with Program Management, Engineering, Systems, external test ranges, and government partners.
Represent the team in reviews, readiness boards, and milestone decision points to support safe and effective test execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred and equivalent experience considered.
5+ years of system-level test and evaluation experience with integrated hardware/software systems.
Hands-on experience conducting developmental and operational test events in lab and field environments.
Strong experience with requirements development, test planning, verification/validation, and traceability management.
Familiarity with RF communications, tactical datalinks, and networked C2 systems in DoD operational settings.
Experience leading test efforts that inform product design and development.
Experience with system-level environmental testing, including climatic, mechanical/dynamic, ingress protection (IP5X/IP6X), corrosion, and UV testing.
Strong background in network and packet-level analysis, including packet capture, packet loss, latency, jitter, and packet completion.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including defining and reporting test metrics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief senior stakeholders.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Active or immediately eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred: prior experience as a Test Lead on a DoD program or equivalent.
Preferred: knowledge of EMI/EMC, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-1275/1553/1760 standards.
Preferred: experience with test automation frameworks, data analysis tools, CI/CD pipelines, and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
Preferred: exposure to remote, austere, or tactical test operations.
Preferred: eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Benefits

US salary range: $126,000 to $167,000.
