Description

  • Conduct comprehensive functional testing and validation of advanced networking devices and systems.
  • Design and implement test cases and strategies for rapidly evolving technology programs.
  • Create validation plans that trace design requirements to test procedures, pass/fail criteria, and industry standards.
  • Develop custom software, firmware utilities, scripts, and automation frameworks to exercise and validate designs under test.
  • Lead root cause analysis for test failures and collaborate with engineering teams on corrective actions.
  • Translate complex requirements into robust test cases and validation strategies.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end functional testing effort for cutting-edge designs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python programming.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of core networking principles and basic IP networking protocols.
  • Proficiency with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex requirements and turn them into effective test cases and strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active Secret security clearance, at minimum, and ability to maintain it.
  • Experience performing Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) testing of networking devices is preferred.
  • Experience working with embedded systems or devices is preferred.
  • Experience testing designs for high-volume production is preferred.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and instrument control is preferred.
  • Experience validating designs for harsh or deployed environments, such as ruggedized, airborne, or space systems, is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $191,000 to $253,000 USD.
