Description

  • Own rolling monthly forecasts in partnership with Product, Program, and Engineering leads.
  • Develop and maintain ETC forecasts and support EAC integrity with program management.
  • Analyze and monitor contract and product profit margins.
  • Prepare monthly internal management reporting and present results in written and presentation formats.
  • Forecast income statement and balance sheet performance by contract and business line.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis across multiple accounting levels.
  • Build reports and automated dashboards in FP&A and ERP tools such as Oracle, Anaplan, and Foundry.
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams across the full work order lifecycle to ensure production activity is captured and costed accurately.
  • Analyze production cost performance, variances, and inventory adjustments, and trace anomalies to root causes in work order and BOM data.
  • Translate build plans and material availability into revenue and COGS forecasts.
  • Support monthly and quarterly production financial reviews, quarterly planning, and per-unit P&L reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst or in a related finance/accounting role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in production, manufacturing, or cost finance, ideally in a hardware, manufacturing, or defense environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP and EPM systems, such as Oracle or Oracle EPM, and the data flow between production and the general ledger.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, data management, and complex modeling.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • DoD and/or tech industry experience is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
