Description

  • Provide technical leadership, vision, and strategy for the Detection and Response function at Anduril.
  • Collaborate with product security and engineering teams to design and implement detection and response frameworks for products, assets, and custom applications.
  • Build and optimize detection signatures, response playbooks, and response automation using detection-as-code principles.
  • Lead threat modeling with cross-functional partners across OT, cloud, network, endpoints, and other environments.
  • Lead large-scale data baselining efforts and work across teams to emit signals that improve detections, telemetry ingestion, and security controls.
  • Contribute to detection-as-code, data engineering, automation, and infrastructure capabilities.
  • Work cross-functionally to mature detection and response for threat actors and scale the capability across the business.

Requirements

  • Programming experience in one or more general-purpose languages such as Python, SQL, Go, or Rust.
  • Experience conducting data analysis in large-scale data lake environments.
  • Experience deploying infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience working in a traditional software development lifecycle, including GitHub, CI/CD, and unit testing.
  • Extensive experience using AWS and/or Azure security controls and services.
  • Broad practical security knowledge across endpoint, network, identity, application, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience deploying infrastructure with Kubernetes (EKS) and/or Docker containers (ECS) is preferred.
  • Experience proactively threat hunting using threat intelligence to identify risks and telemetry weaknesses is preferred.
