Description

  • Assist with aircraft fabrication, assembly, and operation, including structural fabrication, mechanical integration, composites fabrication, and avionics build, integration, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and subsystems such as landing gear, fuel systems, flight controls, and propulsion.
  • Perform common airframe construction techniques using rivets, mechanical fasteners, nut plates, and similar hardware.
  • Complete and maintain aircraft and equipment documentation, including maintenance manuals, checklists, and flight logs.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
  • Communicate mechanical assessments to engineering and production teams.
  • Perform validation and testing of electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
  • Follow FOD and tool control practices.
  • Lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements

  • Valid A&P license.
  • 5+ years of airframe and power plant experience.
  • 3+ years of missile or rocket system development experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with standard computer tools, including web browsers and word processing applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing roles and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be multi-capable, including some electronics troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel as required for test planning and execution.
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.
