Description

  • Design integrated robotic control systems with vision, tracking, motion capture, and scanning for large-scale movement and inspection systems.
  • Support design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of production robotic systems at new factory sites.
  • Develop product manufacturing processes, robotic systems, inspection systems, measurement platforms, and new technologies.
  • Reduce risk to meet production performance and timeline goals in new facilities.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing technology, product design, manufacturing engineering, operations, facilities, construction, ESH, finance, and external vendors on factory and system designs.
  • Lead hands-on work to accelerate project completion and set an example for execution.
  • Use digital thread, simulation, automation, AI, and lean manufacturing principles to improve production flow, quality, and space utilization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a technology developer and implementer for robotic systems and machinery using advanced control systems.
  • Experience developing and implementing integrated robotics and gantries for automation and prototyping.
  • Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment alongside operations and manufacturing engineering.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Experience working with architecture and infrastructure engineering partners and/or general contractors to build or modify production facilities (preferred).
  • Process improvement experience, including justification of return on investment for process or operational changes (preferred).
  • Experience applying lean manufacturing and linear flow principles in a production environment (preferred).
  • Experience with automation and metrology development across assembly, fabrication, integration, inspection, test, and finishing operations (preferred).
