Description

  • Own the end-to-end scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and execution of advanced simulation programs.
  • Develop and execute integration strategies for software components within defense simulation environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, cybersecurity experts, intelligence stakeholders, and government representatives to achieve program goals.
  • Develop technical fluency in vehicle systems to facilitate architectural discussions and evaluate engineering trade-offs.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage risk, and remove administrative and logistical blockers for the engineering team.
  • Manage capture efforts by identifying opportunities, assessing viability, developing strategy, and supporting proposals.
  • Provide data-driven status updates and risk assessments through regular program reviews to internal leadership and government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance is required; TS/SCI is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of technical program management, product management, or engineering leadership experience in aerospace, software development, modeling and simulation, or a related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment as a self-starter.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to work sites and customer locations.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
  • Background in military aviation, especially in flight test environments or operations, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with intelligence community processes, threat assessment methodologies, and classified intelligence products is preferred.
  • Understanding of DoW acquisition processes, CDRLs, and contract management is preferred.
