Description

Collaborate with design, program, and cross-functional leads to align on process best practices and standards.
Gather requirements and define the architecture for how product development processes are used across impacted teams.
Develop, release, and maintain processes in the PDP tool, including GitHub, Party Bus, and Claude Collaboration.
Work with tool development teams to create a user interface for a large, multi-product user base.
Own the central standards repository, including engineering design standards, analysis standards, and the product maturity framework.
Partner with engineering leadership on design practices, test practices, and qualification and build testing gates.
Centralize requirements into resources for R&D, design reviews, qualification campaigns, and production readiness.
Draft workflows, user guides, specifications, and standard operating procedures for design and development resources.
Lead process rollout, kickoff meetings, training workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor adoption, gather feedback, and manage release updates and communications.

Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
8+ years of industry experience in a design, development, process development, product management, or similar role.
Mechanical or electrical design/development experience with new product introduction experience.
Experience working on advanced hardware systems.
Experience with IT tools relevant to design and development, such as CAD and PLM.
Experience with or familiarity in defense industry standards and compliance.
Experience working cross-functionally to establish requirements.
Must be a U.S. Person.
M.S. in a technical engineering field (preferred).
Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Clearance (preferred).
Experience designing or architecting custom design and development tools (preferred).
Experience with training and document creation (preferred).
Project management experience or certification (preferred).

Base salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 USD.
